Op 1 februari, de eerste zaterdag van de maand, bezocht een diverse groep jonge en iets oudere bedevaarders uit Leuven Onze Lieve Vrouw van Banneux.
De dag begon met een misviering, een eenvoudige lunch en het vullen van flessen met het helende water van de Bron. Daarna bezocht de groep de verschillende Mariabeelden. Elk beeld stelt een ander land voor, want Maria is de Moeder van alle Naties. Natuurlijk bad de groep ook een rozenkrans, gevolgd door stil gebed.
Een kleine groep bezocht ook het heiligdom van Tancrémont met een heel oud houten beeld van Jezus aan het kruis.
Ondanks het koude weer genoten ze van een tijd van rust en saamhorigheid bij het ontdekken van deze heilige plek.

The group’s day started with Mass, a simple lunch, and filling bottles with the healing water of the Source. The group then visited the different Marian statues. Each statue represents a different country, since Mary is mother of all nations. Of course, the group also prayed a rosary, which was followed by silent prayer.
A small group also visited the sanctuary of Tancrémont with a very old wooden statue of Jesus on the Cross.
Despite the cold weather they enjoyed a time of calm and togetherness in discovering this holy place.
